IBIA Bunker Training Course - FUTURE FUELS

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) will host its Industry-leading training course with the renowned expert in the bunkering industry Nigel Draffin (Author of 12 books on Bunkering). The course will consist of a morning and an afternoon session.
This course will cover the reasons for promoting alternative fuels, the reality of what is available and a description of each fuel type. It will discuss the current situation with regard to the uptake of the fuels. It will examine the methods of production, transport, storage and distribution of the fuels together with the existing regulations.
Further sessions will then look at the issues with storage, measurement of quality and quantity, the introduction of synthetic fuels and the overall economics.
The last session will try to look ahead and predict the likely growth path.
The course will use data from the most recent publications and will be led by a member of the IBIA technical and Alternative fuels working groups.
